Hi everyboy,

I'm the guitarist, I'm born in Genoa in march'72, but I'm not really from Genoa (as you can see from my pictures), 'cause my parents are both from Calabria “Saudita”.

I started playing guitar the venerable age of 14 years old, but the true turning point for me arrived the year before, when my oldest brother started to bring me with him in a garage where a couple of his friends strummed away on songs of Kiss, Twisted Sister, Judas Priest, ecc... ecc... From that day my guitar became my daily bread, that's why I started to consume discs frenetically to learn the songs, so much that, as a real autodidact, I still haven't learned how to read a score.

In winter 1987, during a concert of the Iron Maiden in Milan, I become friend of two guys coming from my own town, whose names are Massimo Bertoldi and Claudio Bertoldi (the first at the drums and the second at the bass). The common passion for the Metal and Hard Rock music brought us to start with a new band: the opera. After that we hired Marco Mezzetta at the keyboards (actually he is with Rattle Rattle too). We were first of all a cover band (which band!!!), performing RUSH, DREAM THEATER, QUEENSRYCHE, JOE SATRIANI and more, we have lots of satisfactions, especially personal.

Our adventure lasted approximately six years, and it's just in that period that I have enriched in a remarkable way my store of guitaristic knowledge with odd times and killer riffs.

Even though my love for bands that made the history of rock as DEEP PURPLE, LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH, ecc... ecc..., I've influenced from guitarists prominent as AL DI MEOLA, JOE SATRIANI, GREG HOWE and finally, also if tecnically less equipped in these last days, but with the guitaristic personality, the mith ALEX LIFESON from RUSH.

Getting used to it with a few concerts of the band Opera we arrive at 1994, year during which I became a member of RATTLE RATTLE, a band that I've always considered a point of reference in the area, and with whom I'm continuing to grow with my passion.
